Question: I can’t find my Game Piece Code – where is it?
Firstly, make sure you are looking at the right Game Piece– they must either make up a complete series of 2, 3 or 4 different Properties from the same Property Set, or it must be Game Piece code for an Instant Win prize – for further information, please see the Rules
The Game Piece Code of 12 characters can be found on the right hand side of each Instant Win or Collect to Win Game Piece.
Question: The code I entered is not registering
Answer: Please make sure you are entering the correct 12 character-long Game Piece Code – see the previous FAQ for guidance. If after that the Game Piece Code is still not registering and you are certain that you are entering the correct Game Piece Code, it may be the case that the Code has already been entered for a previous prize claim. If you believe you have entered the correct Code and are certain that it hasn’t been used in a Property Set or Instant Win claim before but it is still not registering, please contact us via the MONOPOLY game at McDonald’s Customer Service, by completing the form below.
Question: Is there an age restriction for claiming prizes?
For most prizes you must be aged 16 or over, but please note some prizes require a parent to claim if under 18, and are limited to 1 per person or household - see the Promotional Rules for further details at www.mcdonalds.co.uk/monopoly/rules
Question: I’ve lost my internet connection whilst entering my details, what do I do?
Answer: If you lose your internet connection before completing the Claim Form you will need to re-enter your Game Piece Code in the required fields at the URL highlighted on your Game Piece.
Question: I have not received my email confirmation
Answer: If you have not received your email confirmation in your Inbox, please check your junk mail.
Question: I am trying to register but cannot identify the CAPTCHA. What should I do?
Answer: On the home page, you are able to request a new CAPTCHA code by clicking on: “RECAPTCHA”.
Question: I don’t have a valid email address
Answer: All entrants must have a valid email address in order to redeem their prize. Register at any email account provider in order to obtain a valid email address to redeem your prize. Once you have created your email address, return here to claim your prize. You will need to use the same email address for all claims.
Question: Do I need to keep my Game Piece(s)?
Answer: You must retain your Game Piece(s) whatever the type of prize you have won, both before and for a reasonable time after award. The Promoter may require you to send in your Game Piece(s) for verification purposes. You must also keep the Security Code confidential. Please take care not to damage your game piece – it will become void for all purposes if you do.
Question: Why do I need to be 18 or older to claim some prizes?
Answer: There are a variety of reasons why there are age restrictions for some prizes. Some are due to the high value of some prizes, others are due to age limits stipulated by our partner prize providers. For example, for prizes like the NOW TV Passes, content available on this site may not be suitable for people under the age of 18 and therefore will require a parent/guardian to complete the prize claim on their behalf.
Question: How long will it take to verify my prize claim?
Provided that you’ve successfully completed your claim at the URL provided on your winning Game Piece by 31st May 2019
, the Prize will be sent to the address for the winner provided at the time of entry. This will usually be within 30 days
of receipt of claim, subject to satisfactory verification, (unless it is for a claim which requires your further input before award, such as £100k Cash, £10k Cash, a Mini, Holiday or City break). For the £100k Cash, £10k Cash, Mini, Holiday or City break
, you will be sent a letter enclosing a pre-paid reply envelope and a printed declaration form which you will then be required to complete and return together with your claim-Game Piece(s) to the Redemption Centre, to arrive by no later than 14th June 2019

Question: Where can I find the Promotional Rules?
Answer: Just click on “Promotional Rules” in the footer of any page of this website. Alternatively you can view the Rules at (upon request) at the counter in your local restaurant as a printed booklet or on the in-restaurant tablets (if available).
Question: Can you substitute or transfer a prize?
Answer: Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No cash alternative or substitution of any prize will be provided except if the Partner, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize cannot be awarded as described due to unavailability for any reason.
